What you type is a fraction of the profile. What you do on other sites reports back, and the platform works out the rest for itself. Deleting the profile closes the account, and there is no fixed end to any of it: a suspended account's email and phone number can be kept indefinitely.

The Department of Justice, on referral from the FTC, sued Iconic Hearts, the maker of the Sendit anonymous messaging app, and its chief executive Hunter Rice. The complaint says the company collected personal data from children under 13 without parental consent, although more than 116,000 users said they were under 13 in 2022. It also says the app sent fake messages to push users to buy a subscription, falsely claimed the subscription would reveal who sent messages, and did not make clear it billed $9.99 a week. The case is in federal court in California.
