Ad for a free business training ruled misleading by the UK ad regulator
2025-10-15Affected 10X Business Live (free online training)
The UK Advertising Standards Authority ruled against a paid Facebook ad of 21 May 2025 for 10X Business Live, a free online training from Grant Cardone Training Technologies. In the ad Grant Cardone said he had built a $5.5 million business in 90 days with no money and told viewers "you can do this too", and the caption offered a "$5,000 value training" free to those who registered. The ASA found the ad implied those earnings were typical, which the company had not shown. It was one of five rulings on ads for money-making and business courses.
Class action over prerecorded sales calls to mobile phones, later dismissed
2022-04-11Affected Telemarketing for the 10X Growth Conference
A Miami-Dade resident filed a class action under the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act against Cardone Training Technologies, which sold Grant Cardone's event tickets on store.grantcardone.com. The complaint alleged that on 16 March 2022 it called his mobile phone with a prerecorded message, without his prior express written consent, urging him to buy tickets to Growth Con, where front row seats cost $5,000 to $20,000, and that it placed such calls to thousands of people. The company moved the case to federal court and answered it. It was dismissed with prejudice on 29 December 2022 on the parties' stipulation.
