Children's replies from its AI robot found in an open database, senators say

In a letter made public on 12 February 2026, Senators Marsha Blackburn and Richard Blumenthal said Miko had left an unsecured, public database holding what appeared to be all of its AI robot's audio responses to children, going back to December 2025. They said the files included children's names and were sorted by language and date. Miko's founder Sneh Vaswani said: "There has been no breach or leak of user data. Miko does not store children's voice recordings, and no children's voices or personal information are publicly accessible."
