2026-08-11Oddschecker, the betting odds comparison site owned by FairPlay Sports Media, emailed account holders in August 2026 about an IT security incident involving user data. Reports say the exposed data included passwords, contact details and dates of birth. A FairPlay spokesperson said the company had "identified, contained and resolved an IT security incident involving a limited part of our systems" and was working with the relevant authorities. The company said it had seen no evidence the data had been misused. It told users to change their password there and on any other account using the same one. It did not say how many people were affected.
