Sporting Index
Before you can bet, operators check what you can afford and where your money comes from, so your income and your bank statements go on file. Self-exclusion registers then share you across operators. Many keep the file five to ten years after your last log-in.

Sent visitors' data to Meta through its pixel before they could agree or decline
2025-02-08Affected Meta Pixel on its website
On 8 February 2025 the Observer named Sporting Index among the gambling sites that sent visitors' data to Meta through the Meta Pixel automatically as the page loaded, before the visitor had clicked to agree or decline marketing. Its reporter never consented at any point during the testing. The Observer tested 150 UK-licensed gambling sites in February 2025 and found 52 sending data to Meta before consent; the test user was then shown Facebook ads from 49 gambling brands. Sporting Index did not respond to requests for comment.
