Business course ad ruled misleading for implying its results were typical
2025-10-15Affected Business Mastery course
The UK Advertising Standards Authority ruled against a paid Facebook post of 5 August 2025 for Tony Robbins' Business Mastery course, from Robbins Research International. In the video Tony Robbins said he would show viewers how to grow a business "overnight 30 to 130 percent" with a 7 Step System for "any business", alongside testimonials from past students. The ASA found the ad implied these results were typical for people taking the course, which the company had not shown, and told it not to imply typical earnings in future ads.
People affected typically ask Tony Robbins to confirm whether their information was included, and which categories.
